A Vietnam – Japan Friendship Piano Concert, themed ‘Spring of Music and Friendship’, will take place at the L’Espace Centre in Trang Tien Street, Hanoi on March 20.
The event, as part of the third Vietnam – Japan Piano Festival – 2019, is sponsored by the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association and the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese.

The concert will gather young talented pianists from Japan and Vietnam.

The concert will be directed by Japanese pianist Ayuko Higuchi,who organised several concerts and performances in many cities in Vietnam from 2004 to 2016, such as Hanoi, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh.
It will also feature the participation of artist Shion Ota, one of the most promising artists in Japan.
In addition, talented young Vietnamese pianists Nguyen Ba Tan and Quach Hoang Nhi will join the special concert.
At the event, artists will delight audiences with famous contemporary and folk songs of Vietnam, Japan and many other countries in the world.
The concert is expected to contribute to enhancing the cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan as well as boosting the mutual understanding between the two peoples.
2018 “Autumn Melody” concert to be held in Hanoi
Music lovers will have a chance to enjoy well-known masterpieces of symphonic music, ballets and operas, as well as contemporary dancing and classic Vietnamese works at a concert entitled “Autumn Melody” 2018, to be held at the Hanoi Opera House on August 16.
Violinist Bui Cong Duy to perform at Toyota Concert 2018
Talented Vietnamese violinist Bui Cong Duy will join Taiwanese-American cellist Grace Ho and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra to perform at the Toyota Concert 2018, which is scheduled to be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from August 10-14.
