Vietnamese players compete in Carom Billiards Continental Cup

Eight top Vietnamese players will compete at the 3-cushion Carom Billiards Continental Cup from December 20-22 in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.
They include Tran Quyet Chien, world No 7, Nguyen Quoc Nguyen (24), and Ngo Dinh Nai (29).

They will team up with Kim Haeng Jik (5), Cho Myung Woo (13), Cho Jae Ho (15), Choi Sung Won (19) and Heo Jung Han (22), all from the Republic of Korea.
On the other side, world No 1 Dick Jaspers of the Netherlands will lead his team of powerhouses all ranked in the top 12 in the world.
The event offers total prize money of 160,000 USD.
The first edition was held in France last year, when the European team won 600-483.
Seven leading players of Vietnamese billiards are competing for glory at the Blankenberge World Cup 2019 in Belgium from June 17 to 23.
Tran Quyet Chien is still among top three cueists in the world after early exit from a recent world tournament.
Nearly 150 leading cueists from 17 countries and territories will battle it out for top honour in the 2019 Carom Billiard 3-Cushion World Cup, to be held at Nguyen Du Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from May 20 to 26.
Tran Quyet Chien is number three in the world after winning the 3-cushion carom event at the Asian Carom Billiards Championship.
Vietnamese cueist Ma Minh Cam won the tenth Asian Carom Championship one cushion carom, which concluded at the Nguyen Du Gymnasium, Ho Chi Minh City on April 23.
