Web archive on history of Vietnam-Japan cooperation launched

According to Dang Thanh Tung, Director of the State Records Management and Archives Department, over the many ups and downs of history, the cooperation between Vietnam and Japan has reached new heights, especially when the two countries raised their relationship to an "extensive strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia."

It can be said that the cooperation between the two countries is in its best period in history since the establishment of diplomatic relations on September 21, 1973, he added.
The exhibition serves to demonstrate the historical development in the relationship between the two countries, associated with the achievements of cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education, art from the agreement to set up diplomatic relations to now.
The exhibition introduces nearly 50 archival materials currently preserved at the archival agencies, Museums of Vietnam and Japan, including many documents and images which are being published for the first time.
The director of the National Archives of Japan hopes the exhibition will deepen the bilateral understanding and friendship between Vietnam and Japan.
