On September 26, Chairman of Bac Ninh Municipal People’s Council Nguyen Viet Oanh and other delegates had a meeting with leaders of Xaysomboun province hosted by Major General Buaphan Inthaphanya, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Administration Committee.

The leaders of Bac Ninh and Xaysomboun comprehensively evaluated outstanding results in implementing their cooperation agreement in the 2021-2025 period and agreed upon plans and tasks for implementation of the agreement in the period of 2026-2030.

Besides, both sides organized a ceremony to hand over assistance fund from Bac Ninh city to build Nam Khem 3 irrigation project.

The leaders also witnessed a signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between the Military Command and Public Security Department of Bac Ninh city with the counterparts of Xaysomboun province in the 2026-2030 period.
