100 tonnes of lychees exported via Lao Cai border gate

(BGO) – The Customs Division at Lao Cai Border Gate (Lao Cai province) cleared the customs procedures for over 110 tonnes of fresh lychee from May 7 to June 3, mostly originated from Bac Giang province to export to China via Kim Thanh International Border Gate Road No.2, worth 34.4 million USD.

Implementing the instruction of Lao Cai provincial Customs Office, the Customs Division at Lao Cai Border Gate has focused on timely solving the export procedures for lychees to China.

The lychee carriages gather before customs clearance.

Basically, the export batches of lychee are classified in green route in the system. When the exporter inputs the procedures into the automatic customs clearance system, they will be done within 3 seconds.

Regarding the batches of lychee in yellow route for checking the document, the procedures will be cleared within 2 minutes.

Early lychees sold at high price
(BGO) – The early ripen lychees in Tan Yen and Luc Ngan districts in Bac Giang province are enjoying good consumption with high selling price. As of June 1, the fruits were sold at 40,000 VND (1.72 USD) per kilogram in Phuc Hoa commune (Tan Yen district) and 60,000  VND (2.57 USD) per kilogram in Luc Ngan district.

(BGO) – Authorized  by Bac Giang provincial leader, Director of Department of Industry and Trade Tran Quang Tan and representatives from locals departments and sectors on May 28 received the delegates from the Guangxi Deparment of Commerce and Ping xiang city (China) led by Vice Mayor of Pingxiang city Qin Wenji.
