(BGO) - On April 21, Bac Giang province continued vaccinating children aged 5 to under 12 against Covid-19. About 1,331 children in six districts of Son Dong, Yen the, Luc Nam, Yen Dung, Viet Yen, Tan Yen and Bac Giang city were inoculated at the same day.

Covid-19 cases continue to decrease in Vietnam on Thursday.

Over 1 million Vietnamese people had received Covid-19 passport as of April 20 after six days the Ministry of Health (MoH) started to issue the certification through “So suc khoe dien tu” and “PC-Covid” apps.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked for stronger efforts to import Covid-19 vaccines to complete the target of giving second shots to children aged from 12-18 years old within April and children from 5 to under 12 years old within the second quarter of this year, enabling them to go to school safely.

As of April 18, school attendance had reached 99.57 percent after all schools were reopened post-Covid-19, data from the Ministry of Education and Training shows.
