Bac Ninh stages special art programme to celebrate new provincial establishment
Bac Ninh – On the evening of July 4, the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province held a special art programme to celebrate the establishment of the new Bac Ninh province.
The event took place simultaneously at two venues, including February 3 Square in Bac Giang ward and Kinh Bac Cultural Centre Square in Vu Ninh ward.
It drew the attendance of central government officials, Bac Ninh provincial leaders and a large number of local residents.

At both locations, participants enjoyed a 120-minute art programme themed “Bac Ninh – A thousand years of heritage, rising in the new era.” The show comprised three chapters: “The flow of history – A thousand years of heritage,” “From traditional craft villages to the northern industrial hub,” and “Shining land of aspiration.”

The programme featured a seamless blend of musical performances, dramatic scenes with narration and documentary films, weaving together historical and contemporary events to evoke pride and inspire ambition for growth in the modern era.
A major highlight was a mass performance involving 1,500 artists, amateur performers, and students from schools and art troupes across the province, set to the song “Bac Bling” performed by famous singers Hoa Minzy and Tuan Cry.
The event also showcased Quan ho folk songs and other signature pieces performed by People’s Artists Quoc Hung and Thuy Huong; Meritorious Artist Luong Huy; and singers Anh Tho, Trong Tan, Bui Le Man, Luong Nguyet Anh, Tran Tung Anh, Bao Tram, and Ngoc Ky.
The grand stage, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, vividly portrayed Bac Ninh’s heroic history and the cultural quintessence of Kinh Bac through modern storytelling techniques.
The night featured an impressive drone light show and a high-altitude fireworks display. For the first time, outdoor Hologram presentation technology, 3D mapping, and other cutting-edge visual technologies were employed in an outdoor performance in Bac Ninh.
The celebration underscored Bac Ninh’s rich cultural heritage and its ambition to position itself as a modern industrial and cultural hub in northern Vietnam.
