13th Regular Meeting of provincial Party Committee opens in Bac Giang

(BGO) - On July 5, the Executive Board of Bac Giang provincial Party Committee (PPC) held the 13th regular meeting under the chair of  Duong Van Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the PPC, Head of the provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Thi Thu Hong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the PPC, Chairwoman of the provincial People's Council; Le Anh Duong, Deputy Secretary of the PPC, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, the delegates discussed the reports on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in the first 6 months of the year, the main tasks and solutions in the last 6 months; state budget estimates; political security, social order and safety among others.

The provincial socio-economic in the first 6 months achieved positive results. The economic growth reached 10.94 percent, ranking second nationwide. The economic structure continued to shift toward more industrial ratio. Meanwhile, the cultural and social fields were further developed and local education maintained among top localities.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Anh Duong said besides current difficulties, the province also had many investment opportunities to develop the industrial production with expected breakthrough at the end of this year because some big projects are underway. Therefore, all levels and sectors must highly focus on supporting and accelerating quick implementation of the projects.

Concluding this content, The Secretary of PPC Duong Van Thai suggested sectors and localities to closely follow Central and provincial leadership and determine to successfully implement the set goals and tasks.

Moreover, they were directed to closely and firmly grasp the newly issued documents for implementing as regulations; focus on solving problems, especially in budget collection, land clearance, land and mineral management.

All parties were urged to speed up the project implementation, disburse public investment capital; strive to disburse 100 percent of the set plan.

The provincial leader asked all levels, branches and localities to step up administrative reform, build an open investment and business environment.
