Eighty typical doctors, dentists, pharmacists, medics, nurses, technicians, herbalists, and pharmacists, who are working in agencies and units in charge of healthcare and disease prevention and control for people in Ho Chi Minh City, achieved typical achievements in training and performing professional tasks.

The event is one of activities to celebrate the 67th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2022) and the 91st founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931- March 26, 2022) and also aims to welcome the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at all levels, towards the 11th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Ho Chi Minh City and the 12th National Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

As part of a series of activities related to the event, the Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City also visited and congratulated typical doctors and medical facilities, including an online counselling centre on healthcare guidelines for young people in the city.

In addition, several other activities also took place, such as organising post-Covid-19 health check-ups, providing care and counselling for 300 people in Tan Binh District, screening for 2,500 orphans due to the Covid-19 epidemic, and visiting and giving gifts to paediatric patients being treated at the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital.

As of 2022, the Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City has honoured 269 young doctors in the city.
