The city has completed adjustment to the general planning and subdivision plan to implement the urban and traffic infrastructure projects. They finished editing, arranging, digitalizing, making database and cadastral records in the field of natural resources and environment, upgrading the public service software system and the integrated one stop-shop software.

The city also completed land clearance for all of 13 projects of the province and 45 projects of the city. Besides, this locality implements digital transformation to build a facilitating and serving municipal government, which gradually digitalizes administrative procedures in the locality.

In order for effective implementation of the Resolution 156, leaders of the municipal Party Committee and People’s Committee requested the provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee to pay more attention to the investment, particularly supplementing regular expenses, maintaining the urban public service, building bridges and roads to link traffic and infrastructure such as the overpass from the main road in the southwest of city to the international logistics center, Xuong Giang overpass connecting to the Northeastern belt road, expanding the provincial road 293, section from the provincial People’s Court to the provincial road 299, building the city’s belt road from Tran Hung Dao street in Da Mai ward to the national highway 31 in Thai Dao commune and the project on green trees and water surface under the planning of the subdivision No 2.

Concluding the meeting, the provincial Chairman Le Anh Duong stressed, the city needs to finish adjustment to the city’s general planning in 2022. He assigned the Department of Construction to establish the Steering Committee to support Bac Giang city in implementation of the planning work.

The city was urged to review the general land resources for effective management and exploitation while investing in synchronous and modern infrastructure with a priority for the projects to resolve flooding situation in the city. Besides, it is necessary to upgrade the traffic infrastructure, green median strips and water surface to create a highlight and improve management of the planning, architecture and construction.

In addition, the city needs to pay attention to building urban governance and striving to be top in application of information technology, digital transformation, culture and education. It was also urged to invest in high-tech agriculture in line with service development to gradually reach the criteria of a first - tier city.

Regarding the proposals of the municipal People’s Committee of Bac Giang city, the provincial Chairman ordered the competent agencies of the city to make the list of annual increase level of the public services, thereby collaborating with related agencies to propose the province for proper investment while arranging the investment projects in order of priority to ensure efficiency.
