Bac Giang departs 20 tonnes of early ripening lychee to Japan

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Tan Yen district (Bac Giang province) on May 26 coordinated with the provincial departments and agencies to organize “Departure ceremony for Tan Yen early ripening lychee to Japan in 2021” at Luong Van Nam Square in Cao Thuong town, Tan Yen district.

Chairman of the district People’s Committee Nguyen Viet Toan informed that the district has more than 1,300 ha of lychee with estimated output of over 14,000 tonnes.

Amid the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic, the local authority highly focused on measures to ensure a safety lychee area without getting impacts by the disease, thus the local special fruit has high quality and satisfies the food safety hygiene standard. The harvest period will last till June 15, 2021.
