Bac Giang focuses on strict control over risk of Covid-19 infection

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Bac Giang province on July 26 held a teleconference with 10 districts and city to discuss the measure to prevent and control Covid-19 under the chair of Le Anh Duong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) – Vice Head of the provincial Steering Committee’s Standing Board for Covid-19 prevention and control.

Recently, Vietnam has recorded several case of foreigners illegally entering to the countries via many provinces and cities without applying any control and disease prevention measures.

As of July 26, Vietnam recorded 4 new infected case among the community in Da Nang city and Quang Ngai province. Currently, Bac Giang has applied strict monitor and health control over 935 people returning from Da Nang who are in normal condition and isolated at home.

Discussing at the event, representatives from the districts and city reported to highly focus on reviewing the risk factor of pandemic transmission. Luc Ngan district informed to detect sparse cases returning to the localities illegally. The people immigrating to Vietnam are not strictly controlled so several case succeeded to enter several areas via open path and unofficial ways.

Concluding the event, PPC Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong said that the subjective thinking may arise among the people after the pandemic is well controlled for a period of time.

He urged the authority, sectors at all levels and all residents to highly raise awareness and avoid the inattention in conducting the prevention and control measures; seriously implement the directive document from the authority about the disease prevention and control basing on the spirit of realizing dual tasks to prevent the pandemic transmission to the province and accelerate the socio-economic growth.

Previously, the sectors and localities should highly focus on preventing the pandemic; ensuring sufficient medical materials, tools and products; reviewing and reinforcing the concentrated isolation sites as well as the specific treatment facilities to receive any suspected case.

When detecting any patient, the case should be quickly isolated, traced to handle in line with the procedure.

The provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC) was directed to keep regular contact with the CDC in Da Nang city to detect any F1 and F2 case of patient 416 and 418 from Bac Giang so as to apply suitable monitor method.

The districts and city review to make the list of people returning from Da Nang from July 12 and those are going to return from Da Nang before July 27 so as to request them to make medical declaration and apply quarantine at home.

Particularly, the cases who came for health checkup and treatment at medical facilities in Da Nang city or used accommodation services at Lien Chien and Hai Chau districts must be applied concentrated isolation and have sample tested.

All people who returned from Da Nang city and will participate in the district Party Congress or officers and teachers in charge of the high school graduation exam as well as the students will be tested to the virus.

The Department of Transport should collaborate with the districts and city to review the vehicles to and from Da Nang city since July 12 to order isolation to the vehicle drivers, staff and guests.

The Management Board for the provincial industrial parks and localities should well manage the foreign labors, experts and managers entering to work at Bac Giang after their isolation period.
