The contest will consist of all technical solutions serving agricultural and forestry production such as technology inventions or advancements in farming, livestock, forestry, fishery and mechanical manufacturing.

The contestants include organizations and individuals working in the agricultural sector or living in rural areas regardless of ages, ethnic groups or religions whose technical solutions have been gained from technology creativity, advancements and application of science and technology in Bac Giang province since 2013.

Contestants are allowed to ask other people to produce the products based on their own initiatives.

Contestants are requested to submit 02 dossiers including an application form, a description of the solutions, a full text of the technical solutions attending the contest, a list of co-authors and agreement among contributors with verification of the competent agencies (for solutions of 2 authors or more).

The contestants submit the application to the provincial Farmer’s Union at 7th Floor, the Inter-Agency Headquarter, 3/2 square, Ngo Quyen ward, Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province.

The awards for the primary round of the 8th farming technology invention contest consist of 1 first prize worth 3 to 3.5 million VND (128 to 150 USD); 2 second prizes, each worth 2 to 2.5 million VND (86 to 107 USD); 3 third prizes, each worth 1 to 1.5 million VND (43 to 63 USD) and 4 encouraging prizes, each worth 500,000 to 700,000 VND (21 to 30 USD).

The Organizing Board will choose 10 solutions winning the primary round to take part in the 8th provincial Technology Invention Contest.
