The provincial Permanent Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son concludes the meeting.

This project area is in the east of current Kep township. It is close to Bac Giang-Lang Son expressway to the north, the residential area and forestry zone to the east, Huong Son residential area to the west and the forest and national highway No 37 to the south. The project is planned on an area of about 430 hectares.

At the meeting, the participants discussed the simultaneous traffic linkage between the project area and Kep township. According to almost delegates, it is difficult to link the project with Kep township because there are 3 important routes including Bac Giang-Lang Son expressway, Bac – Nam (North-South) railway and 1A National Highway in the middle of the north-south vertical space of the project area and Kep township.

In his conclusion, the provincial permanent Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son agreed with the opinions about difficulties in internal linkage between the project and Kep township.

He stressed, the project of Ho Cao ecological tourism, urban and sport complex plays a very important part in local socio-economic development which is expected to create a strong growth pole to the east of the expanded Kep township.

The area considered for building project.

However, for a simultaneous and sustainable development, it is necessary to pay attention to internal traffic linkage between the project area and current Kep township in line with ensuring connection to other areas.

Based on the recommendations at the meeting, the provincial permanent Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son assigned the people’s committee of Lang Giang district to promptly collaborate with the investors and consultants to seek for a suitable position to open a traffic route from the project area directly to the current Kep township ensuring cost saving and traffic convenience as well.

Besides, it is essential to build suitable and integrated cross-sectional scale of the routes connected to the frontage roads of Bac Giang-Lang Son expressway to create favourable conditions for means of transport avoiding traffic conflicts; thereby creating a close and integrated infrastructure and logistic linkage between the project area and the township to establish a general space of the expanded Kep township and adjacent areas in the future.
