As schedule, the 2024 Culture – Tourism Week themed “Sacred Tay (West) Yen Tu” will be organized on a provincial scale during 6 days, from February 20 to 25, 2024 mainly at Tay Yen Tu Spiritual and Ecotourism Complex (Son Dong district); Vinh Nghiem Pagoda (Yen Dung district) and some districts and cities in the province.

The festival commemorating the 140th anniversary of the Yen The uprising will be held by the Provincial People's Committee from March 15 to 17, 2024 at Hoang Hoa Tham Historical Relic Area in Phon Xuong town (Yen The district).

At the event, leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism briefed on the progress of implementing the tasks.

Concluding the meeting, the PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son emphasized key issues and required to promote propaganda work on mass media, well conduct the preparation works, ensure traffic safety and security.

Regarding the Festival commemorating the 140th anniversary of Yen The Uprising, he requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with units directly involved in developing the art program at the Festival to review and adjust the script to ensure accuracy and attractiveness to the audiences.

The Yen The District People's Committee was urged to closely follow the construction progress of temple worshipping Hoang Hoa Tham and Yen The insurgent army; complete the repairation and embellishment in the area where the festival will take place, ensure safety for delegates, people and visitors.
