At the meeting, the participants concentrated on analyzing the results gained by the district as well as its shortcomings, discussing budget allocation, building new-style rural areas, managing fruit seedlings and the Party inspection and supervision.

Concluding the meeting, the provincial Party Chief Nguyen Van Gau highly appreciated the solidarity and consensus of the Party Committee of Luc Ngan district. Thanks to their great solidarity, Luc Ngan district has secured stability and consensus for socio-economic development and implementing the local political tasks.

He agreed with the target groups, tasks and solutions proposed by the district. He stressed the district Party Committee’s Standing Board should promptly review and pay high attention to fulfilling the tenure targets and the key tasks in 2024 and overcoming the shortcomings and limitations.

Especially, it should pay high attention to the key task on adjustment of administrative boundaries. This is a historic opportunity for Luc Ngan district to develop.

On the same day, Le Anh Duong, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) also had a meeting with the people’s committee of Tan Yen district on socio-economic development in 2024.

After the discussion session, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong urged Tan Yen district to highly concentrate on implementing the 10 key tasks in the final months of 2024. Particularly, the district should strive to fulfill the targets on building advanced new-style rural district in early 2025. Besides, it is necessary to quickly complete the scheme on merging 5 administrative units of 5 communes to submit to the competent authority at the end of this year.

The district was urged to promote administrative reform and improve the provincial competitiveness index (PCI), increase state budget revenues and accelerate disbursement of public investment. In addition, it was requested to complete the key projects meeting schedule and quality requirements. It should actively implement and support land clearance for new industrial parks and clusters. The district was also urged to well prepare for the all-level party congress for the 2025-2030 in the district.

For the coming tenure, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong recommended Tan Yen district to concentrate on economic restructuring towards industrialization but it still needs to value agriculture with a focus on strong and potential products. Besides, the district should pay due attention to urban development to establish Tan Yen township after 2030 while bettering urban planning work. It is essential to keep consistent to the socio-economic sustainable development targets.
