Bac Giang speeds up progress of key projects
Focus human resources and machine for construction
Defining transport as the main artery to accelerate trade exchange and economic development, many key projects have been implemented in the province to enhance the connectivity for the development space, effectively exploit the potentials and advantages in each locality.

Typically in Luc Nam district, the district People’s Committee in January 2021 mobilized 200 billion VND (8.6 million USD) from the local budget to revamp and upgrade the provincial road No.295 from Bao Son commune to Tam Di and Dong Hung commune with total length of 15km. These days, the construction contractors have utilised maximum human resources of skilled workers and experienced engineers as well as modern equipment and machine to speed up the progress.
At the same time, the district has focused on clearing the land, revamping and building 8 district roads as the plan and some route linking to the national and provincial roads. The routes stretch about 50km with total investment of 800 billion VND (34.6 million USD).

Besides, Yen Dung district has upgraded, revamped and built several transport projects, particularly national road No.17 – 37 passing Tien Phong and Noi Hoang communes with total length of 4 km. The construction was started in early 2020. Now the road is basically completed and put in operation, helping reduce the traffic density to the industrial parks and clusters and partly handle the issue relating to urban development in line with the provincial master plan.
This year, the Department of Construction and Management Board of Transport Investment and Construction Projects in the province, districts and city implement many projects such as revamping and upgrading provincial road No.289 at Chu – Khuon Than section; building Chu bridge (Luc Ngan district); revamping and upgrading provincial road No.295B from the section of Lang Giang district to Bac Giang city...
Open path for socio-economic development
Not only key transport projects, the golf course projects with huge scale have been constructed at the districts of Luc Nam and Viet Yen. The localities have focuses on the site work to timely hand over to the investors, hence helping open orientation for provincial socio-economic growth.
Viet Yen Golf Course is invested at the communes of Huong Mai and Trung Son by Truong An Golf Investment Joint Stock Company with 36 holes, utilities, villas for rent in total area of 140 ha and investment of 1,214 billion VND (52.6 million USD). The land clearance is now on schedule.

Similarly, Bac Giang Golf Course and Resort Project in Chu Dien, Kham Lang and Yen Son communes (Luc Nam) covers 140 ha and is invested by Truong An Luc Nam Golf Joint Stock Company with total of nearly 740 billion VND (32 million USD) in 50 years.
The project targets to build 36 hole golf course with international standard and carry on business, develop high quality tourism, entertainment and local sport movement. It has important meaning which was listed in the provincial People’s Council Resolution to develop tourism, urban and sport.
According to the People’s Committee in Luc Nam district, 70 out of 140 ha of the project is clear, basically meeting the set schedule. The district strives to complete the site work in second quarter this year.
Thus, apart from the golf course operating in Yen Dung district, Bac Giang will have 3 golf courses after these two projects are completed, which draw numerous visitors to enjoy the sport, tourism and leisure activities.

Implementing Resolution issued at the 19th provincial Party Congress, the Department of Transport prepared the Transport Development Plan to 2030 with the vision to 2050 and integration to plan of Bac Giang province in the period 2021 – 2030 with the vision to 2050. Accordingly, the Department defined the roads, routes and sections to upgrade, build and link to the transport network in the province and to other region so as to bring Bac Giang province become bright spot in investment attraction and comprehensive socio-economic growth.
