Recently, the province has detected some scattered disease clusters with daily infection of 15 - 16 cases. The provincial Steering Committee assessed that the management of home isolation was not qualified in some places, the quarantined cases still contacted to relatives to widespread the disease.

Though some small clusters have been detected in the province, the districts and city urgently zoned off the high risk areas to stamp out the disease. The provincial leader urged the whole province to highly focus on controlling over the source of infection, preventing the pandemic risk from other localities. The districts and city should continue screening test for high risk groups and people regularly travelling to many residential areas or other localities.

The districts and city must speed up the vaccination coverage with priority taken to administer third shot to people with underlying illness, the elderly while actively arranging specific area to receive and treat Covid-19 patients at district level facilities.

The medical sector was requested to enhance the treatment capability to restrict the critical and fatal cases. Amid current situation, the province still prioritizes to receive and treat the infected at centralized site.

On the upcoming holiday and Lunar New Year 2022, no firework will be displayed in the province together with big gathering events. The provincial leaders called on officials, public servant, party members, labours and staff not to travel to other provinces and persuade their relatives to minimize party event so as to prevent the disease infection, protect the health for family and community.

90.5 percent of Bac Giang population aged over 18 receive one Covid-19 vaccine shot

(BGO) – As of 2pm on November 15, Bac Giang province administered 1,515,523 Covid-19 vaccine doses, including 1,152,371 first shot and 363,152 second one. Thus, 90.5 percent of local population aged over 18 received at least one vaccine shot while 28.53 percent of adults were fully vaccinated.
