Bac Giang to commence several infrastructure projects in second quarter

(BGO) – “Bac Giang province focuses on removing difficulties and obstacles, accelerating the schedule of big key projects in the area,” confirmed Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong.

In second quarter of 2022, the province will actively boost up execution progress of all stages, basic construction investment projects, especially the investment preparation and land clearance.

Bac Giang strives to commence Nhu Nguyet Bridge on April 30, Dong Viet Bridge on May 19. In this quarter, the province schedules to start all basic construction investment projects which are newly commenced in 2022 with assigned capital plan.

Besides, the province has accelerated the progress to invest, build the infrastructure of local industrial parks so as to put in operation early to attract more investment and create driving force for provincial socio-economic growth in 2022 and upcoming years.

Bac Giang also moves to develop and implement the existing tourism projects such as Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecotourism complex, Truc Lam Phuong Hoang Zen Monastery…as well as focuses on drawing huge tourism investors to Khuon Than, Nham Bien, Dong Cao and Suoi Mo among others.

The statistic shows that many big and key projects have been executed in the province, consisting of 13 public investment projects, three Public-Private Partnership projects and 11 non-public investment projects…which will significantly contribute to boost up local socio-economic development upon completion.

Particularly, the road project which links national road No.37 – 17 and Vo Nhai (Thai Nguyen province) is totally invested over 1,452 billion VND from central and provincial budget. It is implemented from 2021 to 2024. The actual execution value has hit over 221 billion VND, accounting for 15.23 percent.

The project to build Dong Viet bridge and its paths in Yen Dung district is totally invested over 1,492 billion VND from the provincial budget and Local Authority Bond. It is implemented from 2022 to 2025. The actual execution value is estimated at over 64 billion VND.

The infrastructure and storage project of International Logistic Center in Bac Giang city expects to receive total investment of over 4,194 billion VND. The first stage will be completed in May 2022 while the second stage is scheduled in January 2025.

So far, the project has completed all the site work with actual implementation value of over 429 billion VND, accounting for 10.23 percent of total project investment.

Viet Yen Golf Course Project is invested 1,214 billion VND. As schedule, it will be completed and operated in December 2024. The accumulated execution investment has hit about 212 billion VND, making up 17.46 percent of total registered capital.

Industrial and construction sector sees highest growth
In 2021, despite being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, all three areas of agro-forestry and fisheries, industry and construction, and services posted higher growth rates compared to 2020.
