Updated: 11:17, 26/03/2026

BAC NINH - Bac Ninh province attracted more than 1.3 billion USD in investment into its industrial parks in the first quarter, achieving over 80% of its annual target, the provincial Industrial Parks Authority said.

The strong inflows were attributed to continued efforts to improve the local business and investment environment, helping sustain high levels of investment and supporting economic growth.

Seojin Vietnam Co., Ltd scales up production, adds more investment in Song Khe – Noi Hoang industrial park.

Since the start of the year, the province has licensed 62 new projects with total registered capital exceeding 400 million USD. Of these, 40 were foreign direct investment (FDI) projects worth 298.83 million USD, while 22 were domestic projects totaling about 110.4 million USD.

Authorities also approved adjustments to 318 existing secondary projects, adding 696.92 million USD in registered capital. In addition, more than 200 million USD was committed to industrial park infrastructure projects.

Several large-scale investments were recorded. Seojin Vietnam Co., Ltd. increased investment in its Seojin Vietnam plant project at Song Khe–Noi Hoang Industrial Park by 360 million USD. Cooler Master Manufacturing (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., headquartered in Singapore, registered 100 million USD to build a residential facility at Gia Binh Industrial Park in Dong Cuu commune. Meanwhile, GIS Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. added 60 million USD to its project at Yen Lu Industrial Park, bringing total investment to 90 million USD.

Looking ahead, the Industrial Parks Authority said it would accelerate site clearance for remaining land areas and new industrial parks, while stepping up investment promotion efforts.

Priority will be given to financially capable investors with strong budget contributions, particularly in sectors such as software, electronics, information technology, automation equipment, mechanical engineering, auto and motorbike components, electrical equipment and electronic parts, as well as high value-added and competitive products.
