Bac Ninh calls for accelerated progress on Hanoi Belt Road 4 project
BAC NINH - On July 14, Vuong Quoc Tuan, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee (PPC), inspected the construction progress of the Belt Road 4 – Hanoi Capital Region project section passing through Bac Ninh province.
The Belt Road 4 project has a total length of 112.8 km, running through Hanoi, Hung Yen and Bac Ninh, with a total investment of nearly 86 trillion VND (3.77 billion USD). The section in Bac Ninh spans about 35.3 km and costs over 5.2 trillion VND.

To date, the overall construction value has reached nearly 40% of the planned volume. In Bac Ninh, package No.14 has reached 48%, package No.15 is at 36%, and package No.16 at 34%, all lagging behind schedule.
During a site inspection in Mao Dien and Ninh Xa wards, PPC Chairman Tuan praised agencies, units and localities for their determination in land clearance, earning high appreciation from the Government and ministries.
He requested the Department of Construction to instruct the investor to coordinate with related departments and localities to speed up resettlement projects and focus all resources on Belt Road 4 implementation.
Contractors were told to mobilise maximum machinery, equipment and workforce, ensuring synchronised operations across construction sites to accelerate works on cleared sections.
He ordered detailed daily construction plans to optimise time and favourable weather conditions, aiming to complete packages 14, 15, and 16 by the set deadline of December 31, 2025.
