Launched on a pilot basis in Bac Ninh in July, the People's Assistant is currently in use in five wards.
It has supported the submission of 9,646 applications covering 61 administrative procedures through the National Public Service Portal, with 47.1% of applications processed using the version featuring voice guidance.
A further 12 communes and wards have also received applications through the system.

An assessment found that the application runs on workstation browsers and operates stably, without incidents disrupting the receipt of applications.
It does not interfere with the National Public Service Portal or existing procedures for receiving and processing administrative applications.
Key functions include recognising information on documents and automatically filling in electronic forms, digitising and attaching required documents for each administrative procedure, and guiding citizens through each step, including via voice instructions.
These features have reduced the time needed to complete an application to just two to three minutes, while requiring little additional investment in infrastructure.
The People's Assistant information system has also been approved to meet Level 3 information system security requirements.
Based on the assessment results and preparations completed, the municipal People's Committee agreed to continue the controlled pilot on a wider scale.
