Bac Ninh expands cooperation with U.S. partners
BAC NINH - A delegation from Bac Ninh Province, led by Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, has completed an eight-day working visit to the United States aimed at expanding international cooperation, promoting trade and investment, and strengthening supply chain connectivity.
During the visit, the delegation met with officials from Vietnam's Permanent Mission to the United Nations and the Vietnamese Embassy in the United States.

The provincial leader briefed the representatives on Bac Ninh's socio-economic development and called for continued support in fostering ties between the province and U.S. localities and businesses, particularly in investment promotion, education and workforce development.
The delegation also visited Maryland to learn about the state's legislative system and held talks with Maryland Secretary of State Susan C. Lee, state legislators and government representatives.

The Deputy Secretary said Bac Ninh values its relationship with U.S. partners and is committed to providing favorable conditions for expanding cooperation with American localities, organizations and businesses, especially those in Maryland.
He expressed hope that the partnership would continue to deepen and deliver tangible results.
The two sides identified three priority areas for future cooperation: promoting trade, exports, imports and supply chain development; attracting investment and technology transfer in high-tech agriculture, food processing, education, training, infrastructure and logistics; and developing green transformation and smart manufacturing solutions in Bac Ninh.

As part of the programme, the delegation also met with SUN ASSET and QxQ, Inc., companies established by entrepreneurs from Bac Ninh operating in the United States.
Discussions were also held with representatives of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. on investment promotion and cooperation opportunities in electronics, semiconductors and high technology.
The delegation additionally studied U.S. models for economic development, commercial and service management, urban planning and the operation of multifunctional cultural and sports complexes.
