Bac Ninh fruit festival 2025 connects and boosts farm produce value
BAC NINH - Preparations for the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025, scheduled for December 5–10, have been completed under the close direction of the provincial People’s Committee and coordination among local authorities, event organisers and related businesses.
Twelve communes and wards, including Chu, Phuong Son, Luc Ngan, Bien Dong, Son Hai, Tan Son, Bien Son, Sa Ly, Kien Lao, Nam Duong, Deo Gia and Phuc Hoa have set up display booths showcasing their local specialties.

This is the province’s first fruit festival since its administrative merger, and it will be held on a regional scale with more than 200 booths.
The event differs from previous fairs with expanded spaces that include displays of fruit and agricultural products from major provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Son La, Hung Yen, Lang Son, Hai Phong and Can Tho.

Other areas feature agricultural machinery and technology for production, preservation and processing; e-commerce demonstrations; local cuisine; traditional culture and art, including Quan ho singing on boats, Then and Sloong hao performances as well as an exhibition on the history and achievements of former Ha Bac, Bac Giang and Bac Ninh.
The organisers have also set up media centre, security, fire safety and medical checkpoints.

Nightly cultural performances will be held throughout the festival, along with fruit-arranging competitions, fruit-eating contests and cooking activities using local produce.
Tourism booths will introduce flower and fruit garden tours, promoting local landscapes, people and cultural identity.
Authorities from 11 communes and wards in the former Luc Ngan district and Chu town have prepared 20 model orchards and tourist spots for visitors to explore and buy oranges, pomelos and specialty products.
The organising committee will operate free shuttle tours for residents and visitors.
A representative of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade said event organiser VIETAD has completed arrangements for modern exhibition and shopping spaces and will deliver special performances for the opening ceremony.
With thorough and well-planned preparations, along with a wide range of activities combining trade promotion with culture and tourism, the festival will spotlight the value and image of agricultural production zones and OCOP products from Bac Ninh and neighbouring provinces.
The event is expected to boost agricultural tourism and strengthen local brand recognition.

It also offers Bac Ninh an opportunity to showcase its potential, strengths and key products to consumers, visitors and partners, contributing to the province’s image as dynamic, open and sustainably developing.
The festival will help enterprises, cooperatives and farming households promote their brands, expand trade links and sign product-consumption contracts, while improving trade-promotion skills, business capacity and market management for participating stakeholders.
