ENERTRAG is a German renewable energy corporation, operating in wind power, solar energy, power grid and integrated energy solutions. It has presented in Vietnam since 2020.

Secretary of Bac Ninh Municipal Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai speaks at the meeting on October 1.

The corporation is investing in the Bac Giang 2 wind power project at a designed capacity of 55 MW in the communes of Tuan Dao, Duong Huu and Son Dong.

The project features 9 wind turbines expected to produce from 5.5 to 6.3 MW per each generating unit.

Besides, it will build a 110kV substation, a 110kV transmission line at a length of 7 kilometres in line with a 35kV connection line and auxiliary items. The project is valued at some 2.1 trillion VND (80.8 million USD).

At the working session, Gunar Hering shared information about the company’s development and progress of the projects they are investing in Bac Ninh.

An overview of the meeting.

The company representative expected the city leadership to direct related departments, agencies and local government to speed up land clearance for their wind power projects while removing obstacles relating land use for road construction serving the projects.

Speaking at the meeting, MCP Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai expressed his pleasure to receive leaders of ENERTRAG Group and ENERTRAG Vietnam Company Limited.

He congratulated on their success and thanked ENERTRAG Group and ENERTRAG Vietnam Company Limited for choosing Bac Ninh as their investment destination.

Besides, he urged competent agencies to collaborate and guide investors to finalise administrative procedures in accordance with regulations.

They also need to resolve issues under their authority while those beyond their scope of authority shall be promptly reviewed and reported for consideration.

The Group is expected to cooperate with competent agencies to fulfill the investors’ duties to ensure the committed progress.

For long-term cooperation, the municipal Party Chief stressed the city expected ENERTRAG to continue seeking new investment opportunities in energy sector.

Bac Ninh city is willing to exchange and facilitate the Group in studying and selecting proper projects conforming to legal regulations.
