Bac Ninh pledges continued support for businesses and workers

BAC NINH - Bac Ninh authorities will continue to support businesses while improving workers’ living standards, a senior provincial official said during a visit to Hana Micron Vina Co., Ltd. at Van Trung Industrial Park.

Tran Huy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of its Inspection Commission, made the remarks while inspecting production, employment and workers’ conditions at the company.

He was accompanied by Tran Thi Van, Deputy Head of the provinial National Assembly delegation, along with representatives from the provincial Labour Federation, industrial park management board and local authorities.

Hana Micron Vina manufactures and processes integrated circuit boards for mobile phones and smart electronic products. Established in 2001, the company has invested nearly 600 million USD in Bac Ninh and is considered one of the strategic investors in Vietnam’s electronics industry.

The company currently operates two factories in Bac Ninh, employing more than 2,200 workers, and is the first semiconductor manufacturer in northern Vietnam.

The provincial leader praised the company’s management for creating favorable working conditions and offering competitive benefits to attract and retain employees, encouraging them to contribute to production.

He urged the company to maintain stable operations amid global uncertainties, while continuing to improve workforce quality, particularly in technical skills and advanced technology adoption. He also emphasized the importance of soft skills training, industrial discipline and closer alignment between training programs and business needs, alongside greater attention to workers’ welfare.

The Deputy Secretary called on company leaders and trade unions to listen to employees’ concerns, promptly address difficulties and build a stable, harmonious and long-term working environment.

He reaffirmed that Bac Ninh will continue to improve the investment and business climate, while strengthening oversight of policies related to insurance, wages and other benefits to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

On the occasion, the delegates presented gifts to encourage workers at Hana Micron Vina.
