Bac Ninh reviews tasks, strives to surpass year targets
BAC NINH- On the morning of December 18, the provincial People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province organized the regular conference of December chaired by Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC).
According to the report by the Department of Finance, the province gained positive results in socio-economic conditions in the last month of 2025.

Particularly, its industrial production index in December is estimated to increase by 16.79 percent against the same period. Domestic revenue is estimated at 6.2 trillion VND (234.8 million USD), up 57.3 percent.
The province earned over 130 million USD of investment capital, especially it secured the 3rd position nationwide in foreign direct investment attraction. Bac Ninh ranked 2nd among top 10 most attractive localities to giant enterprises in 2025.
The localities in the entire province are concentrating in caring and harvesting the winter crops with the cultivation area of 23,400 hectares, reaching 84.1 percent of the target. It harvested about 4,555 tonnes of pomelo, 6,120 tonnes of orange and 350 tonnes of off-season custard apple.
Disbursement of public investment in 2025 reached 95 percent of the year target.
Speaking at the meeting, PPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son stressed the province’s socio-economic situation has seen positive development in the final month of 2025 when industrial sector sustained its growth momentum, agricultural production has been kept stable and services satisfy demand.
Besides, healthcare, education, culture and information have been paid attention. Political security has been secured.
These achievements have been gained thanks to the great efforts and high determination of the whole political system.
He added, as 2025 draws a close, the agencies, units and localities need to concentrate on the key issues.
Particularly, they need to well prepare for the New Year of the Horse and ensure fund for big events and festivals.
Besides, PPC Chairman requested to remove obstacles for enterprises to boost production and business development, guarantee commodity supply and strengthen market management.
He noted agencies, units and localities should organise year-end reviews, evaluations and commendations in safe, quick and practical manners while spending time implementing the tasks and assignments of 2026 effectively right in the first week of and first month of the new year.
The participants also discussed and gave opinions on some projects at the conference.
