Experiencing high-tech farming models in Bac Giang
In recent academic years, the experience tourism spot of the Organic Farm Production, Trade and Service Cooperative in Nui village, Dinh Tri commune, Bac Giang city has become a popular destination for the students of Dinh Tri primary school to broaden their knowledge related to the natural science subjects and practicing skills towards crops.

According to Rector Nguyen Van Khoi, giving students opportunities for field visits and experiencing will help to improve their knowledge of the real life and production activities of the local, thereby enhancing their capacity of discovering the life, nature and society, communication, teamwork and self-study.
Covering an area of more than 3,000 metre square, this farming model has many types of vegetable and flowers applied high technologies in net houses and membrane houses with hydroponic and aeroponic farming methods together with a fish farming system using aquaponics and a recirculation aquaculture system making use of waste to protect environment.
The experience tourism spot of the Cooperative lures attention of many young people especially students from kindergartens and primary schools in the locality.
Notably, in line with improving values of the agricultural products, this model allows visitors especially students to grow favorite trees with their own hands, thus spreading the community values.
“Experiencing activities are compulsory for students. Hence, establishment of clean farm production models for experiencing not only helps to improve economic efficiency on the same land area but also provides visitors and students with knowledge of agricultural production. We consider it a potential type of tourism that means for the community and contributes to sustainable agricultural development”, said Luu Dinh Hop, Director of the Cooperative.
