What are new contents and highlights of this year’s fair?

Luc Ngan boasts the largest fruit tree area in the North. In order to promote, introduce, and supply to the market high quality fruits and typical local products, since 2016, Luc Ngan district has organized the fruit festival or this fair annually.

This year, in addition to trade promotion activities, the Organizing Committee also invited districts and cities in the province and units and enterprises from Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Son La, Hai Phong to participate in the fair in order to diversify goods. At the opening ceremony, in addition to the auction of fruit products winning the first prize in terms of quality as before, beautiful orange and grapefruit trees will also be auctioned for the first time.

The organizers will screen images of one sweet orange tree, one yellow-flesh orange tree and one of the most beautiful sweet grapefruit trees in the district for auction. The winning bidders will receive the fruits, or the trees in the orchard, and the orchard owner will take care of and preserve the trees.

Also at the opening ceremony, the district People's Committee plans to open an electronic trading floor, putting orange, grapefruit and typical products of Luc Ngan on sale. During the fair, we will also implement the programme "Experiencing the orange and grapefruit season" in Luc Ngan district with tours and travel routes for visitors to the fair and to orchards and beautiful places in the district.

Could you please introduce more about this e-trading floor and the organization of tours and travel routes as well as the support from the Organizing Committee so that traders and visitors can easily connect, visit and explore the land and people of Luc Ngan?

At the opening ceremony, the district will open an e-trading floor for orange, grapefruit and other typical products of Luc Ngan. Customers across the country can easily access the address "dacsanlucngan.vn" to find out and order products. Orders will be received by reputable enterprises, cooperatives, and garden owners who provide products of origin and high quality.

The sweet fruit season.

Particularly for tours and travel routes, the district has cooperated with travel companies to survey and select 25 orchards with sufficient conditions to host visitors; building 6 main tours connecting with Cam Son lake and Khuon Than lake ecological tourist areas; developing spiritual cultural tourism at Am Vai Pagoda and Ha Temple in combination with orchard tourism.

This year's fair has many new points. In order to make this event a success, how did the organizers prepare for it?

The fair is an important event of the locality. Therefore, the Organizing Committee has actively prepared conditions for the fair to take place successfully. It early established committees and subcommittees to prepare works carefully, assigned tasks to each member, and mobilized social resources for the organization.

Before the opening time, the preparations for the fair such as promoting the fair, the script of the opening ceremony, plans to ensure security and order, electricity supply, environmental sanitation, and establishment of groups to transport visitors... were completed.

This is an opportunity to promote and introduce tourists, businessmen and people nationwide and overseas Vietnamese to the land and people of Luc Ngan, especially the strength of the famous fruit tree area.

Orange and pomelo laden orchards draw numerous visitors to Luc Ngan

(BGO) – Though it is nearly 10 days to come Luc Ngan fair for orange, pomelo and signature products in 2020, many visitors and travel agencies have come to Luc Ngan district in the northern province of Bac Giang to enjoy the local landscape and get the actual experience. 

Bac Giang creates suitable tours to Luc Ngan district

(BGO) – The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DCST) in Bac Giang province on November 10 coordinated with the People’s Committee in Luc Ngan district to hold talks about local orchard tour. The event was attended by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam Tourism Association, Vietnam Association of Community based Tourism and nearly 80 travel agencies in and outside the province.   

Luc Ngan welcomes first tourist delegation to enjoy orange and pomelo season in 2020

(BGO) – The Division of Culture and Information in Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province) on November 8 coordinated with the People’s Committee in the communes of Nam Duong and Tan Moc to welcome the first tourist delegation introduced by Hanoi based Tre Viet International Travel Company to enjoy the orange and pomelo season in the area in 2020.
