First batch of Yen The chicken stamped for origin traceability

(BGO) – Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan, Chief of the Yen The district Division of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bac Giang province informed that the Yen The Green Agricultural Cooperative on October 10 sealed and stamped of origin traceability for the first batch including 500 heads of hybrid bantam with the trademark of Yen The Hill chicken. The products were sold at La Khe market, Ha Dong (Ha Noi).

Yen The hill chickens are tied with leg straps and stamps of origin at the Yen The Green Agricultural Cooperative.

The chickens were raised under a strict process with high quality; thus receiving the positive response from customers. The selling price fluctuates from 70,000 VND to 75,000 VND (3.1 to 3.3 USD) per kg, 5,000 to 10,000 VND(0.22 – 0.44 USD) higher than the markets’ price for chicken without the stamp.

The cooperative is actively searching, expanding the market and stamping of origin traceability for Yen The hill chicken.
