The Germany Christmas Market has long been a cultural site where visitors come to experience the typical Christmas atmosphere, as well as prepare for the New Year. The most famous Christmas market in Germany is Nuenberg, which sells handmade products and Christmas specialties.
Christmas markets are usually held in large, open spaces and close to churches. For this reason, the Hanoi Goethe Institute has come up with the idea of holding a German Christmas market in Hanoi. The 100-year-old Cua Bac church, with its clock tower and picturesque windows, is considered as the perfect festive backdrop for the Christmas Market.
