Goertek promotes trilateral education partnership programme in China
BAC NINH - Representatives from Goertek Vietnam, together with delegates from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), Electric Power University (EPU) and Thai Nguyen University of Technology (TNUT), visited China to study a trilateral education partnership model linking universities and industry.
The visit from May 18-22 was part of the “University–Enterprise–University” cooperation programme involving Goertek, Vietnamese universities and Chinese higher education institutions, aimed at developing a highly skilled workforce for the technology and smart manufacturing sectors.

The initiative, proposed and implemented by Goertek, seeks to strengthen international educational cooperation, expand academic networks and enhance practical training opportunities for students amid rapid digital transformation and deeper global integration.
During the trip, the delegation visited several educational institutions in China to explore industry-oriented training models and cooperation opportunities.

The group first toured Shandong Vocational College of Communications and the Goertek Training Centre in China, where nearly 100 students from HaUI, TNUT and EPU are currently participating in the joint training programme.
University representatives praised the practical training model, international learning environment and close involvement of industry partners, describing them as key factors in helping students improve professional skills and prepare for international careers.
The delegation also held talks with Shandong University of Technology on cooperation in education, scientific research and talent development.
The parties agreed to strengthen collaboration in designing curricula aligned with industry demand while expanding joint research and technology application projects.

In addition, the delegation met with Qufu Normal University to discuss sustainable cooperation under the trilateral partnership framework. Discussions focused on faculty exchange programmes, expanded student mobility and joint research projects linked to practical industry needs.
Goertek said the programme helps create an integrated education ecosystem that connects academic training with real-world production and labour market requirements.
Under the scheme, Vietnamese students receive Chinese-language training in Vietnam before continuing their studies and practical training at Chinese universities and Goertek’s technology training centres in China.
