Scheduled to run from August 28 to September 5, the event will commemorate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2 1945–2025).

The exhibition will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ha Noi's Dong Anh commune, from August 28 to September 5.

To ensure the event’s success, the Ha Noi Municipal People’s Committee has tasked the Ha Noi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research, the Department of Industry and Trade, and the Department of Agriculture and Environment with organising and operating exhibition spaces that highlight the capital’s development across sectors.

The municipal police, in coordination with the Department of Construction and other relevant bodies, have been directed to manage traffic flow and guarantee public safety. Plans include the provision of both free and paid transport services, along with detailed fire safety and emergency response strategies.

The Department of Health will be responsible for forming a dedicated medical task force, supply essential equipment and medicines, and oversee healthcare and food safety protocols for exhibition participants and attendees.

Meanwhile, the Department of Culture and Sports will collaborate with supporting agencies to organise a series of cultural activities, including festivals, creative camps, performing arts programmes, tourism and culinary fairs.

The department is also responsible for decorating public spaces and exhibition zones with banners and posters, as well as guiding press and media outlets in covering the event.

Titled “The 80-Year Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness,” the expo will take place at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Dong Anh commune, Ha Noi.

It will feature Viet Nam’s most notable accomplishments in politics, economics, society, defence, diplomacy, science and technology, health, education, culture, and tourism.

The exhibition will also celebrate the nation’s cultural heritage and its strides in green growth and digital transformation.
