Interest rates cut to support customers affected by Covid-19 pandemic

(BGO) – Implementing the instruction from Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), Agribank Bac Giang provincial branch and Agribank Bac Giang 2 branch have recently launched programme to reduce the lending interest rates for all customers to timely support those affected by Covid-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, the valid time started on July 15 till the end of December 31 this year. The bank will reduce 10 percent of the total current interest rate for customers.

The latest review result proved that Agribank Bac Giang provincial branch had total loan balance of about 11 trillion VND (480.5 million USD) with estimated cut interest of over 40 billion VND. Some typical businesses enjoying the interest reduction are Bac Giang Import Export Joint Stock Company; Vina Han JSC (Bac Giang city)...

Mean while, Agribank Bac Giang 2 branch estimated to reduce the interest of 51 billion VND for the total loan balance for business and individual customers.

Apart from this programme, these two branches also cut the interest rate for new customers, especially those suffering from Covid-19 pandemic to quickly recover the production and business. They assigned staff to instruct the companies and individuals to complete new loaning profiles to ensure smooth disbursement.
