Luc Ngan receives 10 more lychee growing area codes to export to Australia and Japan

(BGO) – Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province) has been granted with 9 more lychee growing area codes (GAC) to export to Australia and one code to Japan, reported the Division of Plant Production and Protection (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development).

9 GAC for Australian market include one for Tan Moc Farm Produce Consumption Service Cooperative in Tan Dong village, Tan Moc commune (18 participating households in 20.5 hectares); two for Lychee Production Alliance in Trai Thap village, Tan Lap commune (31 participating households in 31.8 hectares); six for Lychee Production Group in the villages of Cau Meo, Nam Dien, Canh, Ben Huyen in Nam Duong commune (195 participating households in 83.7 hectares).

The lychee growing area meets export standard in Trai Thap village, Tan Lap commune.

One more GAC for Japan is granted to Cuong Thinh Agriculture Service Cooperative in Ho village, Kien Lao commune (19 participating households in 15.5 hectares).

So far, Luc Ngan district has had 98 GAC to export lychee to China, America, Australia, EU, Japan and Thailand.

(BGO) – Hero Green Company Limited (Hero Green) in Dai Lam industrial cluster, Lang Giang district (Bac Giang province) has inked contract to export nearly 90 tonnes of processed lychees to Australia. It was the first time the company has exported big quantity of lychee to such potential market.
