The lychee continued enjoying stable high selling price of 35,000 – 65,000 VND (1.5 – 2.78 USD) per kilogram on average in Luc Ngan district, particularly main season lychees were sold at 35,000 – 55,000 VND per kilogram and early ripen lychees at 40,000 – 65,000 VND per kilogram.

The lychees are packed in foam boxes before reaching to the customers.

At peak period, the early ripen lychee of first class was consumed with the price of over 70,000 VND (3 USD) per kilogram. The tradesmen confirmed that the price increases not much comparing to the previous days.

In June 10, Luc Ngan district sells over 4,550 tonnes of lychee to the market.

To date, the fresh lychees have been sold nationwide. Some localities have consumed a big quantity such as the northern adjacent provinces, major urban cities of Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hue, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh city and others.

Luc Ngan lychee week slated on June 7 in Hanoi

Saigon Co.op takes northern lychees around the country

The Saigon Union of Trading Co-operatives (Saigon Co.op) will buy 500-700 tonnes of thieu lychees, a unique fruit grown in the northern province of Bac Giang’s Luc Ngan District, this year, 25 percent more than in 2018.

Early lychees sold at high price

(BGO) – The early ripen lychees in Tan Yen and Luc Ngan districts in Bac Giang province are enjoying good consumption with high selling price. As of June 1, the fruits were sold at 40,000 VND (1.72 USD) per kilogram in Phuc Hoa commune (Tan Yen district) and 60,000  VND (2.57 USD) per kilogram in Luc Ngan district.
