MoET Minister Phung Xuan Nha extends Tet Greetings in Bac Giang

(BGO) – On January 16, Phung Xuan Nha, Member of the Central Party Committee, Minister of the Education and Training (MoET) visited, extended Tet Greetings and presented gifts to the teachers and officers working in the educational sector in the northern province of Bac Giang on the occasion of upcoming Lunar New Year. 

He was accompanied by Dr. Vu Minh Duc, Head of the National Education Union of Vietnam (NEUV); Le Anh Duong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) and leader of the provincial Labor Confederation (PLC).

At the local Department of Education and Training, Minister Phung Xuan Nha congratulated the outstanding results achieved by the provincial educational sector recently, including stable quality of universal education, reinforced and developed key education, students winning high prizes at national, regional and international contests.

The Minister expressed that the prominent results were made thanks to the great efforts of the educational staff, officers, laborers and teachers and due attention and orientation from the provincial authority.

In the upcoming year, the sector will have to deal with several difficulties and challenges, especially necessary preparation for the new high school educational programme, the Minister urged the whole sector, particularly the dedicated and passionate teachers to be ready to further study, practice to improve the profession to meet the requirement.

Visiting Boarding High School for Ethnic Students in Luc Nam district and Tang Tien Primary School (Viet Yen district), Minister Phung Xuan Nha tenderly asked after the health, living and working conditions as well as shared with the difficulties of the teachers and educational laborers.

The MoET Minister hoped that they will continue promoting the tradition of the family, nation and school to overcome the difficulties while focusing on teaching the cultural knowledge in a close connection with moral education and living skill training to the students.

Minister Phung Xuan Nha sends Tet Greetings to the officers, teachers and laborers at Boarding High School for Ethnic Students in Luc Nam district.

With his role and responsibility, the Minister will further research to consult for the Government to revise and supplement the policies of salary and allowances to each position so as to gradually improve and increase the living condition to the officers and teachers.

On the occasion, the MoET Minister Phung Xuan Nha , PPC Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong, Head of NEUV Phung Minh Duc and PLC leader presented many gifts to the officers, teachers and students of Boarding High School for Ethnic Students in Luc Nam district, Tang Tien Primary School, Than Nhan Trung Secondary School (Viet Yen district).

Besides, the delegates visited and sent Tet Greetings to the families of two teachers living in special difficult circumstances in Vo Tranh commune (Luc Nam district).

(BGO) – The Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Duong Van Thai on January 14 visited and extended Tet Greetings to some foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises currently operating in the province. He was accompanied by representatives from the departments of Foreign Affair, Industry and Trade, the Management Board of the provincial Industrial Parks and Viet Yen district.

A programme to make Chung cake (square, glutinous rice cake) for disadvantaged communities will take place at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism from January 24-26, said the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MCST) on January 14.
