Nearly 100 OCOP and key products of Bac Giang attends 2022 Vietnam China International Trade Fair

(BGO) – Bac Giang has 4 booths showcasing more than 100 products under One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme and key ones at the ongoing 2022 Vietnam China International Trade Fair in Lang Son city (Lang Son province).

The outstanding products are dried lychee, Chu rice noodle, Luc Ngan orange and pomelo, Van village wine (Viet Yen district), Tay Yen Tu honey (Son Dong district), Ke rice cracker and Da Mai vermicelli (Bac Giang city) among others. With good quality and eye catching appearance, the farm produce of Bac Giang have attracted a lot of visitors and customers.

The fair is jointly held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Lang Son province. It is an annual event held alternatively between Lang Son province of Vietnam and Quangxi province of China.

This year event themed “Friendship – Cooperation - Linkage - Development” attracted over 100 businesses from 40 provinces and cities of Vietnam, and China with over 260 stalls.

Joing the fair brings Bac Giang chance to introduce and promote the signature products, open opportunity for commercial coopeation as well as boost up export to Chinese market in particular and global market in general.

The trade fair takes place from November 2 – 9, 2022.

Bac Giang aims to further develop, upgrade OCOP products

The northern province of Bac Giang plans to invest more in developing and upgrading its products recognised by the “One Commune-One Product” (OCOP) programme, aiming to lifting up the rankings of 95 products which had been certified as three and four-star-products in the 2019-2020 period by 2030.
