The event was attended by representatives from the DoET, HCMCYU, the Youth Federations of the province, 10 districts and city as well as nearly 500 students of the provincial high schools. 53 out of 55 local high schools organized contests at the levels of school, district and Youth Union in provincial agencies.

Representatives of the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Department of Education and Training present the flower to congratulate the participating teams.

The show drew 11 teams from 10 districts and city and Youth Union in provincial agencies who had to compete in 4 rounds. In the first round, the videos or clips of each team was judged by the number of vote in social networks (30 percent) and the Jury Board (70 percent).

The second round was named “Knowledge” including 15 multiple choice questions; fill-in-the-blank part with contents about the Laws of Youth, Education, Road Transport, knowledge on nature and society; historical tradition and culture, key events of the nation, history of the Youth and Association’s movements; Vietnamese island and seas.

Also, each team had 5 minutes to present the talent such as signing in English, dancing with English melody, acting in English, hip-hop and modern dancing...in the third round for talent contest. Final was eloquence contest which requested all team to make bilingual eloquence in English and Vietnamese basing on 12 topics issued by the organizers previously.

The representative of the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and sponsor present the first prize to a representative of Ngo Si Lien Highschool.

Concluding the event, Ngo Si Lien Highschool won the first prize while Yen Dung No.1 High school and Luc Ngan No.1 High school received two second prizes. Additionally, the organization board presented 3 third prizes, 5 consolidation prizes and 4 sub-prizes to winners of good video, knowledge, talent and eloquence.

The English Talent Show for Bac Giang Highschool Students is a useful and practical playground for the youth to increase their exchange and study.

International conference on English training held in Thai Nguyen
