NGOs support Bac Giang province in Covid-19 fight

(BGO) – Amid the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic in the northern province of Bac Giang, via Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) and the People's Aid Co-ordinating Committee (PACCOM), several foreign non-governmental organizations (NGO) donated medical supplies to support the province in Covid-19 fight.

They included the Asia Injury Prevention Foundation (AIPF/US), Samaritan’s Purse International Relief Service (SPIR/US), Helen Keller International (HKI/US) and Operation Smile (OS/US).

AIPF presented 2,500 medical face masks. SPIR donated 10,000 medical face masks, 300 protective suits and 300 sanitizers. HKI supported 40,000 medical face masks, 800 N95 face masks, 800 protective suits and 100 sanitizers (500ml). OS handed over 5,000 Determinant antibiotic fabric face masks.

The provincial Department of Foreign Affairs handed over all these medical supplies to the provincial Fatherland Front Committee to distribute to units on demand.
