Thanks to the excellent manner, Oanh has left a deep imprint with two gold medals at her forte of 5,000 meter and 3,000 meters hurdles. Noticeably, she broke her personal records made at the National Sports Festival 2018.

Particularly, Oanh reached the finish line at 5,000 meter distance with the achievement of 16 minutes 27 seconds 94 (her record at the sports festival is 16 minutes 35 seconds 30). 

Meanwhile, she completed 3,000 meter hurdle after 9 minutes 52 seconds 07 (her record at the sports festival is 9 minutes 56 seconds 08).

Concluding the event, Vietnam team totally bagged 3 gold and 1 bronze medals. Personally, it was the smooth start for Oanh in the journey to gain a ticket to Olympic Tokyo 2020.

Nguyen Thi Oanh wins bronze medal at ASIAD 2018

(BGO) – The Bac Giang born athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh won a bronze medal in the women’s 3,000m hurdles in the eight competition day of August 27 at the ongoing Asian Games 2018 (Asiad 18) in Indonesia.
