Nguyen Thi Oanh nominated as Female Athlete of the Year

(BGO) – The 2018 Victory Cup Awards, a prestigious annual award honouring the best individuals and collectives of Vietnamese sports has opened for voting to 10 categories of Male Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year, Young Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, Teammate of the Year, Most Favourite Athlete of the Year, Best Athlete With Disability of the Year, Photo of the Year and Lifetime Achievement.

Nguyen Thi Oanh competes with strong rivals in the women’s 3,000m hurdles in ASIAD 2018.

Track and field athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh in Bac Giang province is named in the finalist for “Female Athlete of the Year” for her outstanding achievements in 2018, particularly the bronze medal in the women’s 3,000m hurdles at the Asian Games 2018 (Asiad 2018).
