Over 1,100 job positions offered for overseas labourers returning from ROK, Japan

Nearly 1,160 working positions with high incomes are being offered to Vietnamese overseas laborers who have returned home after completing their contracts in the Republic of Korea (ROK) and Japan.

The targeted guest workers can look for a recruitment chance at a job fair opened at the Hanoi Employment Service Centre, No. 215, Trung Kinh street, in Hanoi’s Cau Giay district on November 22.

A Vietnamese guest worker returning from the ROK being interviewed for a position in a Korean enterprise operating in Vietnam.

The event is held jointly by the centre in collaboration with the Department of Overseas Labour under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Human Resources Development Service of Korea and the Japan International Manpower Development Organisation (IM Japan).

It targets former Vietnamese employees under the ROK’s Employment Permit System (EPS) programme and IM Japan’s Technical Intern Training programme who have returned home after completing their contracts in the two host countries.

Accordingly, 72 Korean and Japanese-invested enterprises have joined the fair, offering 1,158 working positions, including Korean and Japanese translators, production managers and technical workers, with high incomes starting from VND8-15 million a month.

Statistics show that the demand for recruiting workers with college and university degrees is highest (41.8%) with 485 positions, followed by intermediate-level technical workers (33.3%) with 386 targets, and manual workers at 24.9%, with 287 positions.

Vietnam sends nearly 60,000 workers abroad in first half of 2018
It is estimated that Vietnam sent approximately 60,000 workers abroad in the first six month of this year, according to Nguyen Gia Liem, deputy director of the Department of Overseas Labour under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
 
Bac Giang’s authority appeals guest workers in Korea to repatriate on time
(BGO) – The Department of Labor Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) in Bac Giang province has recently coordinated with Department of Overseas Labor (DOL)  and Center of Overseas Labor (COL) (under Ministry of Labor  Invalids and Social Affairs) to organize a conference to appeal for the labors working in the Republic of Korea (RoK) under Employment Permit System (EPS) programme to repatriate on time.
