Over 40,000 volunteers in response to National Volunteer Day 2022

National Volunteer Day 2022 was held in Hanoi on December 3 as part of activities in response to International Volunteer Day (December 5).
The event aims to promote pioneering and volunteering movements among young people,to support socio-economic development in the community.

A wide range of voluntary activities, within the framework of the summer youth volunteer campaign, was launched nationwide in 2022 by the Standing Board of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union Central Committee.
In response to National Volunteer Day 2022, localities across the country will simultaneously deploy 230 community programmes and activities, worth a total of about 14 billion VND, with the participation of about 40,000 volunteers.
Voluntary activities held during the 64 days of this summer have attracted the participation of more than 430,870 volunteers in Ho Chi Minh City who contributed nearly 821,000 working days during the period.

Luc Nam district to launch “Pink vaccation” youth volunteer campaign in 2022 at
An Khanh – Bac Giang Thermal Power Joint Stock Company in Vu Xa commune, Luc
Nam district.
(BGO) – It is the peak lychee harvest season in Luc Ngan
district, Bac Giang province. Hundreds of youth volunteers have joined hands
together with the farmers to harvest and consume the special fruit as well as
cooperate with competent agencies to ensure the traffic safety.
(BGO) - At this time, lychees begin to be harvested. In
order to support growers, the Bac Giang provincial Youth Union has directed its
local chapters and affiliated units to set up volunteer youth teams to support
digital transformation and sale of agricultural products, thereby helping
farmers harvest lychees in time, and boost e-commerce application in lychee
sale and promotion.
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held an event on May 29 in the north-central province of Thanh Hoa, kicking off the 2022 summer youth volunteering campaign.
