President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to open on May 1

The President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum will be open to the public on May 1, the Management Board of the site has announced.
Time for people to pay tribute will be from 7:30am to 11am.

President Ho Chi Minh passed away on September 2, 1969. His body was embalmed and placed in a glass coffin inside the granite mausoleum.
The mausoleum has become an important landmark of the capital city and is integral to the political and social history of Vietnam.
Vietnam's tourism sector officially entered the recovery stage after a long hiatus caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Acknowledging an increase in demand of search for destinations, US-based online booking travel agency Booking.com announced top 10 most hospitable tourist destinations in Vietnam in 2022.

The Travel has made a list of the 10 best destinations in Southeast Asia, including Hanoi, especially for those who want to explore Vietnamese culture.
The third World Culinary Awards listed Vietnam as Asia’s Best Culinary Destination in 2022.
