Provincial leader instructs to focus on land clearing work and accelerating progress of key projects

(BGO) – On July 31, Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Linh chaired the regular meeting with leaders of the sectors and chairmen of the People’s Committee in the districts and city.

At the meeting, the representatives raised their opinions after listening to the evaluation of socio – economic development in July and in seven months. In spite of the active implementation of localities, there remained many difficulties in site clearance in several projects such as Huong Son Industrial Cluster (Lang Giang district), new residential area in the North East of Bich Dong town (Viet Yen district)…

The leader of Bac Giang municipal People’s Committee reported about the decreased budget collection from the land auction, delayed issuance of land use certificate and complicated traffic crash.

Discussing at the event, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lai Thanh Son urged the districts and city to base on the current situation to plan the suitable time to reclaim the land and compensate for the site clearance smoothly and effectively.

Regarding the complicated railway accident in Lang Giang district, he requested the Department of Transport to coordinate with the People’s Committee in Lang Giang district to review the whole route in order to eliminate the self-made cross-roads, especially those with frontage roads.

Regarding the stagnant salary and social insurance, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong ordered the districts and city to pay due attention to early report in order to expedite the business in debt.

Additionally, local authorities should inspect the facilities of the schools prior to new academic year while actively arranging the teachers to avoid the local shortage.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Linh expressed in the upcoming time the sectors and localities should focus on executing the Resolutions of the provincial People’s Council at the recent seventh meeting session while mobilizing high determination to the site clearance work, hence boosting up the progress of the key projects.

The departments, sectors and localities should actively coordinate and create best possible conditions to the investors as the legal regulation. Meanwhile, the organizations, agencies and localities must seriously build up and follow office culture as well as strictly handle the violated cases.

The Department of Planning and Investment was requested to coordinate with the Department of Statistic to report the result of national population and housing census so that the localities have basic to make relevant plans.

The leaders of the districts, city and organizations should enhance the responsible spirit in land clearance work and complaint handling. The provincial leader also instructed the competent agencies to reinforce the inspection and supervision of social insurance payment from the enterprises to timely handle any arising violation.

Bac Giang draws 90 investment projects in 7 months

(BGO) – As of June 17, 2019, Bac Giang province licensed and adjusted 86 investment projects, accounting for 72 percent with total capital of 542 milion USD, up 73.8 percent comparing to the same period last year.
