Samsung Electronics Vietnam donates “digital space” classroom to social centre
BAC NINH – Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co Ltd on March 19 donated a “digital space” classroom to the provincial Special Education and Social Protection Centre, as part of its long-term commitment to supporting disadvantaged children’s access to knowledge and technology.
The handover ceremony was attended by Le Xuan Loi, member of the provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee.

The centre is currently caring for and educating 224 children and social protection beneficiaries, including 165 children with disabilities, 43 special education students and 11 abandoned children, along with other emergency protection cases.
In recent years, the centre has implemented individualised education plans and early intervention programmes, with more than 60% of children showing clear progress. Many have significantly improved their self-care and communication skills, gradually reducing inappropriate behaviours.
Speaking at the event, Kim Iee Soo, General Director of Samsung Electronics Vietnam, said the donation of a 10-computer digital classroom was not only a contribution of facilities but also part of the company’s long-term commitment to the community, particularly in helping disadvantaged children access education and technology.

He expressed hope that the classroom would be effectively utilised, enabling students to develop digital skills, nurture their aspirations and build confidence for the future.
On the occasion, Samsung Electronics Vietnam also provided more than 200 meals for students at the centre.
