In Viet Yen district, Secretary Bui Van Hai and the delegates surveyed the planned parking area for the labor transport buses and trucks waiting for the customs clearance procedure at Dinh Tram Industrial Park (IP); expansion project of several frontage road sectors of Hanoi – Bac Giang expressway, its tunnel systems and connection of Belt Road No.4 and the expressway.

After the inspection, he pressed the construction of parking station is a crucial task to help reduce traffic jam and create an image of civilized and professional IP. The Department of Transport (DoT) was urged to select qualified enterprises hiring the land for station building and coordinate with Viet Yen District People’s Committee to destruct the median strip and widen the national road No.37 (passing Dinh Tram IP) so as to arrange the separate lane for the labor transport buses.

Regarding the scheme of connecting Belt Road No.4 and Hanoi – Bac Giang expressway, the Secretary agreed with the Build – Transfer project of building the overpass at Quang Chau IP, noting that the Department of Planning and Investment should collaborate with the provincial Management Board of construction investment for transport projects and Viet Yen district to quickly complete the design and construction programme as well as consult on the location handling over to the contractor to execute other projects and compensate for the overpass constructing expense then submit to the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board for consideration.

When inspecting the construction project of Dong Son bridge and its path located in Yen Dung district and Bac Giang city, Secretary Hai urged the contractor to take the advantage of favor weather to accelerate the schedule, target at bridge closure on the occasion of Independence Day September 2 and complete the whole route by October.

Yen Dung district should cooperate with the relevant sides to compensate and boost the site work for some households in Huong Gian commune as well as promptly handle over the ready land to the Contractor.

Additionally, Secretary Hai assigned the DoT to chair and consult on building the pedestrian overpass in Dinh Tram and Van Trung IPs to stop the workers from passing the expressway to the factory.
