The Hoa Phu IP infrastructure construction and business project was approved by the Prime Minister with an area of more than 207 hectares and a total investment of over 1.9 trillion VND (82.75 million USD) by Hoa Phu Invest Company Limited.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan inspects the site clearance progress for the Hoa Phu Industrial Park project.

The project is implemented in the communes of Mai Dinh, Chau Minh and Huong Lam. Up to now, compensation for clearance of more than 179 hectares has been completed, equal to 86.5 percent of the plan. The provincial People's Committee has handed over nearly 134 hectares to the investor. This industrial park has attracted 18 secondary investors with total leased area of 86 hectares and combined investment capital of 8 trillion VND (347.4 million USD).

At the working session, delegates said despite improvements in site clearance for the project, the progress has not met the requirements.

After listening to the report and his field trip, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan praised the site clearance results made by the investor and the Hiep Hoa district People's Committee. He emphasized that Hoa Phu Invest Co., Ltd., has done well investment attraction, contributing to promoting socio-economic transformation and creating jobs for local workers.

As the Hoa Phu Industrial Park is a large-scale project in the province, he urged the People's Committee of Hiep Hoa district and the investor to focus on removing obstacles and speeding up site clearance to seize opportunities to attract FDI inflows.

The official also requested the provincial Industrial Parks Management Board to coordinate closely with the investor and the district People's Committee to regularly review the site clearance progress.

Hiep Hoa district should identify this as a key task, striving to clear the remaining area in the second quarter of 2021 to hand over to the investor, while continuing to pay attention to communication work to create consensus among local residents.
