In Yen The district, the delegates conducted survey at several destinations within Hoang Hoa Tham Historical Relic Sites such as The temple, Phon Xuong station, Yen The Uprising Exhibition House, ancient ironwood tree in Ven village, Xuan Luong commune as well as the Memorial Site of Uncle Ho’s 6 Teachings to the Public Security Forces in Nha Nam town (Tan Yen district).

The representatives assessed that these above places have big development potential for origin orienting and community based tourism. The spots relating to Yen The Uprising with the name of hero Hoang Hoa Tham and his army are special destinations which no other localities have. Thus, apart from the effort to restore the relic sites, the local authority and competent agencies should accelerate the education, communication and promotion to many people in and outside the province, especially the students and youth.

In Ven village, the experts and travel agencies were impressed by the primitive natural landscapes with many unique cultural identities of Cao Lan ethnic people, especially the local cuisine, Then singing and tea harvesting experience.

The visitors enjoy the community base tourism in Ven village, Xuan Luong commune (Yen The district).

However, they commented on the limited traffic system which needs further expansion with suitable car keeping station while the accommodation services, sanitation projects, receptionist service should be more invested.

The survey progamme aimed to introduce and promote the destinations with tourism developing potentials in Yen The and Tan Yen districts to the tourism companies and travel agencies so as to build tours, travel routes and link to other sites in and outside the province to attract more visitors to Bac Giang province and boost the tourism growth.
